The Story
The forgotten Temple on top of the hill overlooked the tranquil water of Temple Water. The birds flitted in the trees, as the turquoise damselflies danced on the surface of the lake. The morning dew glinted in the Mid Summer sun, and as I walked, my shoes became wet with the tiny droplets.

The Collection

Vibrant colours and patterns inspired by the landscape of Northern Ireland compliment each other in April's Lough Cuan Collection. Inspired by April Mawhinney's pencil illustrations and the heritage of the Irish linen industry, this glorious collection of fabrics and home wares are printed within the UK onto linen fabric.

The Fabric

Temple Water fabric is a glorious watercolour wash print inspired by the Temple Water lake in Castle Ward Estate, County Down, and the abundance of wildlife that live around it. The watercolour washes are reminiscent of the watery scene, and the palette of colours is inspired by the Springtime turquoise damselflies found along it’s banks. This colourway also compliments the entire Lough Cuan collection. It is printed onto a natural bleached linen union fabric with natural-coloured background.
