Hi, my name is April Mawhinney, I’m an Irish-British designer inspired by my love of wild places, folkloric tales and colour. My artwork exudes opulence and romance (with just a hint of peril!)
Here, you will find a portfolio of my designs and illustrations that are available for licensing - allowing your to put my designs on your products.
With over 20 years of experience of designing both for my own products and for clients; my number one goal is to create artwork and products that encourages and inspires you to live your most colourful, joyful & creative life.

How to Licence my Artwork.
You can now licence (or ‘rent”) my artwork to put onto your products. I love to build long term relationships with my clients, and would love to hear from you.
I believe my portfolio of illustrations and, repeating patterns will be a perfect fit for your brand.
Step 1
Browse my portfolio of artwork and select the art you would like to licence. If you would like slight changes to the artwork, such as colour changes or scale adjustments, I can do that!
Step 2
We will negotiate payment terms. I will retain the copyright to my artwork, and you can use it on your products for an agreed upon amount of time. If you need help, I can prepare the files for you to use so that they are production ready. Once I hand off the files, you start creating the final products!
Step 3
You produce products featuring my art. You can sell them wholesale or direct to customer. I will also share them on my social media and in my customer newsletter!
Step 4
Once your products are available for purchase, you will pay me an agreed upon royalty. This payment can be paid monthly or quarterly. And if you are happy with our work together, then we can work together on a new project!
