
Liza Lewis is a children's illustrator. She has been very lucky to work on lots of exciting projects ranging from cards, giftwrap, games and puzzles, canvas prints, cushions, and lots of lots of books. Her work is so cheerful that I just had to ask her to do one of these creative Q&A sessions. Scroll down to read her answers.

She get loads of inspiration from her family, dog, cat, animals, toys, music, art, fabrics and plants (anything really!). Liza has a particular interest in children’s illustration and enjoys creating new and exciting characters.

Bright - fun - quirky
What are you most proud of so far in your career, any highlights you’d like to share?
I am very proud of the fact that two books I wrote and illustrated are now in publication -Things That Go - Fast & Slow and Things That Go - High & Low
Which artist or designer inspires you?
There are so many - here are just a few Britta Teckentrup, Ingelap Arrhenius, Richars Scarry, Eric Carle
Favourite tool you use in your creative practice?
I work primarily in adobe illustrator but I have been using my iPad pro and the software procreate more and more and the more I use it the better it gets- it is amazing!
What top tip would you give to anyone who would like to turn their creative passion into their career?
Create a body of work that you love and get it out there for people to see. No one can buy your passion if it is sitting in a draw at home. Don't be shy and don't ever give up!
