Caustic Chrysanthemum Cotton Linen Fabric

Printed by the Metre | Made in the UK

Bold, playful and richly patterned, this cotton linen fabric is inspired by William Morris and Arts and Crafts interiors, reimagined for modern maximalist homes. Hand illustrated by April, the design features oversized Chrysanthemum blooms with a caustic, slightly dangerous edge, celebrating colour, pattern and historical intrigue.

Printed to order in the UK, this statement fabric is perfect for dopamine decor, layering pattern and creating standout interiors. Suitable for curtains, cushions and light-use upholstery, it balances durability with expressive design and modern-heritage appeal.

Colourway: Orpiment Orange

Drawing on the mineral Orpiment, this colourway features luminous yellows, fiery oranges and warm burnished browns, all set against teals and blues. Historically prized and highly toxic due to its arsenic content, Orpiment becomes a symbol of daring colour and character. The result is a show-stopping fabric that radiates warmth, confidence and maximalist energy.
