Hand illustrated by April - this glorious large design fabric features birds' nests, eggs, mushrooms, flowers, oak leaves, goldfinches, and butterflies, all overlaid over a subtle ombré background.

Inspired by the glorious blue colour of blackbirds' eggs, this colourway features a pale blue base with details in a perfect palette of soft greens, blues and coral.

Carefully crafted in the UK with eco-friendly water-based pigment inks; it is resilient to fading.

Our Shimmer Velvet fabric is a luxurious and sumptuous choice for upholstery projects. Its short pile velvet has a woven backing that makes it easy to handle. When light catches its velvet pile, it gives off a mesmerising shimmer, creating a distinctive look. Our shimmer velvet is 100% polyester, printed using dye sublimation, guaranteeing bright and rich colour that will last. Make your project extraordinary with Shimmer Velvet!

For scale, please refer to the image of the pattern which represents 1m of fabric.

There is a pattern overlap of 1cm on each side of the design (on the selvedge edge). This is to allow for pattern matching and hemming, (should several widths need to be joined to make extra wide curtains.)

Care Instructions

Linen:

Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F.

Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Drip dry. Do not wring. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%.

Velvet:

Hand wash only at 30 °C / 85F. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Dry flat. Do not wring.

Washing instructions are provided as guidelines only and are subject to your own testing.

Shipping: Rolled & Folded

All fabrics are printed to order which can take between 2-6 weeks.

Fabrics are shipped folded in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the delivery and to use less packaging materials. If you need the fabric to be supplied rolled, please do contact the studio for a quotation.

Rolled shipping starts at £35.00 for UK Delivery in addition to other postage prices as it requires a specialist courier company to deliver it. Prices outside U.K can be provided upon request.

Kindly note as fabrics are printed to order they may not be returned unless faulty.
