This William Morris style fabric is hand illustrated by April is inspired by the an iconic British poisonous plant - Lords and Ladies (Arum Maculatum), characterised by its poisonous berries, lush leaves, and distinctive white lily-like flower. 

The Alchemist Yellow colourway features a vibrant yellow background colour, lush green foliage and red berries.

Printed by the metre in the U.K using non-toxic environmentally friendly ink. The distinctive surface texture of this fine cotton linen mix fabric contains a natural subtle slub within the weave.

British Craftsmanship: prioritise sustainability in my creation process and print each metre to order in the U.K, ensuring no dead-stock or over production is created. I also work with my U.K. based production team to ensure that only eco friendly HP pigment inks are used.
 
Samples: It is strongly advised to order a sample before ordering by the metre to ensure you are happy with the colour and weight of the fabric. You can order the fabric by the metre here.

*Please note that the samples are pre-printed & pre-cut. Purchasing more than one sample, does not create a continual length or repeating pattern. For example, if you order 2 samples, you will get two separate 20cm x 20cm samples, mounted onto card.

About

Our luxury cotton linen is one of our bestsellers. The cotton linen blend give it a luxurious look. A slub of linen gives the fabric real character and provides surface interest.

As a medium heavyweight fabric, it is suitable for a wide range of soft furnishings such as cushions, curtains and lampshades. The base colour is a natural white and the design is printed using eco-friendly water based pigment inks.

The luxury cotton linen is pre-treated to offer excellent durability and wash fastness. Pigments are inherently UV resistance and will provide long lasting prints.

All fabrics are printed in the UK using independently certified eco inks using OEKO-TEX 100 certified fabrics. 

Care Instructions

Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F.

Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Drip dry. Do not wring. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%. Washing instructions are provided as guidelines only and are subject to your own testing.

Shipping: Rolled & Folded

All fabrics are printed to order which can take between 2-6 weeks.

Fabrics are shipped folded in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the delivery and to use less packaging materials. If you need the fabric to be supplied rolled, please do contact the studio for a quotation.

Rolled shipping starts at £35.00 for UK Delivery in addition to other postage prices as it requires a specialist courier company to deliver it. Prices outside U.K can be provided upon request.

Kindly note as fabrics are printed to order they may not be returned unless faulty.
